About the QR Code Generator

How to use it

1. Pick what the QR should do — Link, Phone, Email, SMS, WhatsApp, WiFi or Contact — and fill in the details. 2. The QR updates live as you type; style it with presets, colors and shapes if you like. 3. Download it as PNG, SVG, JPG or WebP and print. The Scan tab reads any QR code or barcode with your camera.

QRs that do things

Each content type creates a QR with a built-in action: a Phone QR opens the dialer with the number ready to call, an Email QR starts a new email, an SMS or WhatsApp QR opens the chat with the message pre-filled, a WiFi QR lets guests join the network by scanning, and a Contact QR saves the details straight to the phone's address book.

Generating and downloading

Downloads are 1024×1024px PNG/JPG/WebP — crisp for posters, packaging and business cards — and the SVG version scales to any size without losing quality. QR codes are error-correcting, so a slightly damaged or dirty print still scans.

Scanning with your camera

The scanner mode uses your device camera — entirely on your device; nothing is uploaded. It reads QR codes and barcodes and shows the decoded text so you can copy or open links.
