What Is My IP

About the What Is My IP Tool

How to use it

1. Open the tool — your public IP is fetched automatically with your ISP, city, country, timezone and coordinates. 2. Want to check someone else's IP? Type it into the lookup box (e.g. 8.8.8.8) — the tool doubles as an IP geolocation lookup. 3. Use the map link or copy the details you need.

What it shows

Your public IP address — the address the internet sees for your connection — plus your internet provider, organization, ASN, approximate city and country, timezone, and coordinates. Use the OpenStreetMap link to see your location on a map.

Looking up other IPs

Enter any IPv4 or IPv6 address to see where it's registered — useful for investigating emails, server logs, or suspicious connections. The same lookup box accepts both formats.

Why the location is approximate

IP geolocation comes from public databases and points to your provider's network, not your exact address. It can be off by a few kilometers or even show a different city when your provider routes traffic through another region.

Using a VPN?

If you use a VPN, this tool shows the VPN server's location and provider instead of your real ones — a quick way to verify your VPN is actually working.
